This is what I see so much of lately when logging into cafemom, and this is when I check it once or twice a day (that's right 107 bulk a DAY), don't even get me started on if I go a day or two without checking in!!! I love my friends here on cafemom and enjoying getting to know new and interesting people. I also love all that cafemom has to offer and the support I have found on here has been wonderful. I live in a small town and have a few friends my age but most are elderly people so this site is extremely helpful to me. This is NOT a post complaining about cafemom and those who use it as that will be deleted. This is about annoying crap bulk mail. I don't want to remove any of my friends but it's getting really old and I'm regretfully about to pretty soon I fear. I have sent out messages to my friends in the past asking them to no longer send me junk mail, but few have respected my wishes.
Don't get me wrong now. If you wrote a journal that you feel is important and would like me to see it and vote it up, if you have a prayer request, or something of that nature I don't mind you sending it in bulk form. I will tell you though, if you don't mark the title "NOT BULK" there's a really good chance that I will just delete it and never even open it.
My complaint is when people send chain letters, cute stories, jokes, advertisements, and things such as that. Sometimes I get the same e-mail form a bunch of different people 20 times in one freakin' day! I'm totally not trying to be a snob, and I apologize if I'm coming across that way, but I just haven't the time to read all these crap messages. I have two kids (one with extra needs), a night working husband, and I volunteer for a animal rescue. When I come to cafemom it's to talk with friends and just have some "down time", not to waste a hour sorting through bulk!

I hate the chain letters but I have got two that say somone will die if this isnt forward that is beyond not being funny
I know I just HATE those! What if you just forwarded that to someone who just lost a parent, husband, or child? They're terrible.
I DELETE ALL BULK MAIL !!!!

Yesterday and today when I logged on I had 25 BULK , SHIT , JUNK mail that I also don't have time for - And get this.........................
IT WAS ALL FROM THE SAME DAMN PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have way toooooooooooooooooo many friends and have NO TIME for SHIT mail!

I did end up deleting "friends" that sent nothing but forwards and junk mail.

First off you need to weed out your friends list........Start with people that you have never talked with after asking/accepting there friend invite. Then write a note to your entire friends list 5 at a time letting them know that you are weeding threw your list. That you appreciate there friendship but your life is busy and unless you have kept up in emails besides sending bulks that you wish them well and will see them around cafemom. The next thing is to write and ask that they not send you bulk mail. If it continues.........then start deleting them. If they were a friend they would consider your request :).
I must strongly agree to this ....And sometimes when im sending something important it goese to bulk mail cause of the number of names of names i have on it not sure what the number is befor eit goes to bulk...but i have to STRONGLY AGREE with this with journal and its not often do i even read or agree but his one caught my eye......
I hate bulk mail. I refuse to even look at it!
