My DD is a year and a half. My frustration with her is that i can NOT keep her in her crib. Every time I put her in, she jumps out 2 seconds later. I've tried everything I know to do to keep this from happening but nothing is working. I'm always worried about walking away from the room when I lay her down. I'm afraid she is going to hurt herself and I'm so tired of it being a constant fight...... Any sugguestions?

And DH is working the nerves because he consistently tells me he is going to do something but NEVER follows through. I have explained this to him many times how it hurts my feelings and stresses me out but it doesn't make a damn difference to him. He still pulls the same shit on a day to day basis.

My nerves are so aggravated that I can't see straight......

My daughter got out of her crib when she was about that age.  So we took the crib apart and put her crib mattress on the floor.  And put a baby gate in her doorway.  That really made us both feel more at ease, since she couldn't hurt herself that way.

About your husband, I have no idea.  My boyfriend is the exact same way.  Makes me aggravated!  I know how you feel on this one, and I have no clue how to make it different.  If you get any advice, let me know.  Hang in there...  :o)

Our third daughter was a climber ! She was out of the crib in two seconds at NINE months old!  So the crib mattress became her bed.  A gate at the door and a super child proofed bedroom became part of our lives at that time.    I would have to go in after she fell asleep , find where she fell asleep and move her to the mattress every night till she learned to go to sleep on the mattress.   Good luck!
