I was googling how to make myself an icky zombie for Halloween and came across the COOLEST tutorial... today I gave it a test run and it worked like a charm!

you need:

-roll of TP.. double ply is OK, separate the ply so its only 1 ply thick and tear into strips and chunks/squares.

-bottle of elmers glue

-makeup/fake blood... you can get a "witch" makeup kit at Walmart for $2.00 but I just used my personal foundation and then dappled some eyeshadows (grey, green, purple, black) and fake blood on top.

STEPS:

Step one is to COMPLETELY shave the area you are applying this too. I have some peach fuzz by my ear and it got in it.. ouch! hurts taking it off!

Step two: apply a thin layer of Elmer's glue, then lay on a layer of TP. Apply a bit more elmers. Layer as much as needed to get the effect you want. You can stretch your skin as you apply it and then let go to create "wrinkles" and when its almost dry you can pinch and move it to form craters/cuts/so on...

I did one side of my face almost completely and then a few random patches on my hand/neck/face.

Step three: when its completely dry, layer on the makeup! I used my regular foundation and covered all the spots until they completely blended with my skin.. Then I dusted with green eyeshadow, grey eyeshadow, purple eyeshadow, and using a stipple brush I dotted on fake blood. I gave myself some kinda black eyes and IMO real zombies arent all green like this video shows but.. it gives you the idea! Instead of using liquid latex like he did, I used the elmers and it worked just fine! Plus.. elmers doesnt smell like liquid latex does. So my face wasnt GREEN like this guys.. mine was my regular face color looking like I got punched and kicked a few times.. and my "sores" were bleeding. I am kinda giddy about this.. cant wait to freak some people out on Halloween!

I'll post pics on halloween, I washed it off before I thought to take pics.. but it worked amazing and best of all it was free because I already had all the stuff! WOOHOO!
