So it's really all about motivation, administering lessons to small children.

Right?

Right. So here is the fruits of my labors, and my attempts at educating my child:

The letter of the week was A. So.

Apple. My writing on the left, his on the right. In his defense, he wrote without looking at the paper.

Emma's apple.

What else starts with A? Alien. Duh. Again, my writing on the left, his on the right - slightly improved.

Emma's Alien. Notice the passionate strokes.

Lead by example, right? Not the whole still in PJs, no make-up example, just the artistic, paint in the lines example, mm'kay?

And remember, feel free to use their favorite video game characters names to encourage writing - oh, after you draw a basic head shape, and let them personify the character, of course!!

Our counting practice! This thing totally doesn't exist anymore. Five minutes into the life of it, it died a horrible, beading death.

What is this?! Why, it is a penguin color heart bracelet for my Tracelet.

I actually really enjoy these lessons! :-) It's so fun to watch G get into it.

Thanks! I'm hoping I can stay motivated to do this because his writing and attention span has improved so much in just one week!
