I was frantically trying to finish a swap package (I'm already sending late) and my son decided he neeeeded to decorate his baby pumpkins, which have been been sitting around for weeks. I thought about gluing wiggle eyes to them (that's my solution for everything) but I found something else in the drawer with the wiggle eyes, and K was hooked. In fact, he needed to use all six in the package.

They're stuffed animal eyes!
He showed me where each eye should go and I shoved them in.
He told me what kind of mouth he wanted it to have and I cut it from scraps of fabric and paper.
I intended to make the teeth longer but my eyeballing isn't so good.

Aaand the other one.

He had originally wanted two of the little eyes on this one and a sad mouth (lazy Mommy and her Sharpie...)
but took the blue ones out to use for the other one and all I had left was these giant frog eyes.
So he looks kinda dumb but I had to include him.

And here's MY little pumpkin!

The thing in his other hand is a wadded-up piece of cheese.

They are very cute! My son climbed up on my lap and started pointing 'cool!! punkin!' so they're a hit here. :)
