Don't think the Media is run and controlled by the Government? Think twice. One of Obama's own advisers, Anita Dunn said they controlled what they want people to know. We need ALL the information to make up our OWN minds, not have the Government or the media do it for us.

I agree, we need Insurance reform. There are many easy things to do in order to correct the problems. We have over 1000 insurance companies, but here in my state I only have 5 to choose from. If you open the state boarders, you would have a HUGE competition between carriers. The boarders were closed and the government introduced PPOs and HMOs in the mid 70's which ruined and great system. We NEVER heard of people losing their homes and/or filing Bankruptcy before then.

A government run system is NOT the answer. You think insurance companies have too much power, wait until you have to jump through the hoops of a government bureaucracy! Medicare and Medicaid are horrible and they are going Bankrupt. If anyone in my family were to become gravly ill, I would rather have access to the best of the best and go broke paying for it. You cant put a price on your children....or can you?

Please watch and remember, John Stossel may have been fired for this. The rumors from former staff support this. But take it as it is either way if it was the other way around, I would bet no one would have been fired. Fair is fair, show BOTH sides. The media is state run.

I say, the ones that want government controlled, socialized medicine, let them have it, but leave the rest of us ALONE!  I'm happy with my health-care, I do NOT want the government stepping in telling me what standard, or even what care, I can have.  BO can't even manage  finances, and people want him in control of their lives?

I love John Stossel and his boldness to always tell the truth.  FOX picked him up, they won't try to censor his reporting.  That's what the White House hates about FOX...they expose their shenanigans they'd rather keep hidden from the public.  Ahhh, but thankfully, their days are numbered.

Thx. for sharing Elk_Hunter....Our precious freedoms are diminishing daily. The Scriptures forwarned us concerning this. Obama & his administration are a viable tool to the Socialist/Communist minded ppl. living in this Country + they are assisting the efforts of the W.H.O. & the UN to accomplish their plan for a One World Gov't. Sadly the United States is now extremely vulnerable to our enemies abroad due to the current administration & their diabolical shenanigans! I agree Brie.....their is hope on the horizon~

I didn't know he was fired for this! i watched it on TV when it was aired.

wow.

...in any case, ...the biggest problem i have with ALL of these talks about healthcare is that they alwasy talk about cures for this and cures for that. ...I think cures would be a great thing ...but how 'bout a little focus on PREVENTION. Prevention of cancer coupled with a cure ...wow. wouldn't that be a miracle.

I just saw him on Fox last week.  I had no idea he had been fired from ABC!  I don't watch the other news outlets anymore because they are so far up Obama's derriere that they have lost all objectivity.  Stossel has always been a respected reporter who tells it like it is.  Kudos to him for a hard hitting report and WELCOME TO OUR SIDE!!!

I don't watch the alphabet networks any more.  Glad that I got to see this, and glad that someone with the brass to report this is on Fox!!

Thank you for posting this!  I liked the idea about opening up the borders between states to encourage competition.  They could also make some laws to protect consumers, like making it illegal for insurance companies to deny people for pre-existing conditions, and illegal to drop a customer who suddenly develops health problems.

All of the points that have been brought up are valid.  I really object to being forced to pay for abortions.  I would be happy for our tax dollars to either assist a woman to keep and raise her child, or pay for her medical expenses so she can place the baby for adoption.
