As A newbie in cafemom, guess how many groups I have been invited to? I was sick of it.

Well, I have invited many friends. There has been complaints about bulk mail, called harrassment for commenting on a journal, tried to make friends, was blocked, All this happened within a few months.

How do you think your comments affect others?

First of all, I tell people what I think. Some can deal , some can't. I appreciate the friends I have b/c they are the same. Theynever try to be soemthing they aren't.
And my comments have brought soem [=eople to my page to ask about Autism.
I usually don't comment on anything unless its a positive response. I love to read the journals ladies post. I hope that my comments make them feel like someone is listening and really cares. I'm sorry you have had bad responses. I am in a lot of your groups . SO I get a lot of tr same message. I just read one and delete the others. If they say the same thing. It really isn't a bother to me. I hope you have better luck with your post. Lisa aka kittykrazy
I found Cafemom a great site once I walked away from the ignorance. wether it be ignorant people or ignorant groups. I focused on the things that mattered most to ME. stopped worrying about what ANYONE thinks of me. and focused on only positive friendships.
People's comments do really effect how i feel. I did the same thing as a newbie. I invited people and was invited by a few. I joined groups and am an admin in a couple. Proud to be. Now I have also found that i was blocked by a couple people that I don't even know. I think that bulk mail though it may seem like a pain at some times it has helped me to make some really close friends with a few people and i really need that at this point in my life. It is important to pray for people. I have found that the Lord is reaching many people and that to me is just amazing. If we as admins need to get a message to everyone in our group and then maybe to some of our new friends that we think would be interested i would hope that it is ok. I hope i have not offended anyone. I also hope to keep making more friends. I feel very lucky to have made the many that I have made. Thanks to all of you.
It happens to all of us at one time or another, I have been blocked an kicked out of a group because an other mom said something to an other mom that was defending me, What is funny is I had never responded to the first mom I did not care. The response from the owner of the group came from left field, I did not even know what was going on. But I felt it was funny they lost a active member that had helped put them on the active list. humm they are no longer there, and it is no skin off my back. There are other groups and other moms to find.

If people don't like the bulk message or message, instead of complaining, why don't they act like adults and just delete it.
ok, now i will share something w/ you. yesterday i got a VERY nasty note from someone. yes it hurt but i am worked through it. i did block that person after they already had me blocked for absolutely no good reason at all. some people don't know how to be except rude. there are good people on here. i was telling someone else that you are one of the people who i really like. don't give up, ok. I love YOU!!!
Hang in there. It will get better. Cafemom is great. I have to limit my groups. i can't handle more then 6.i am a owner of 1 and co-owner of 1.
