You came into my world, when I thought no one should,

you opened up my eyes, when I thought no one could,

for the pain inside was still so sharp,

from those careless hands that had broken my heart,

I wasn`t ready yet to let you in,

but you just understood and continued to be my friend,

I waited for you to leave, like all the others had before,

but you just stayed, and before I knew it,

became the man who I adore,

it was then I knew you had my heart,

and probably did from the very start.

Dec. 23, 2009 at 2:42 AM I wrote this poem right after my boyfriend broke up with me. I was really in love with this guy but he was an ass. I cried on my bf`s shoulder then 2 yrs. later I ended up marrying him! :-)
