This year for Halloween my youngest son and I are going as Jessie and Woody from Toy Story - I looked for the costumes and figured I could make them myself after seeing what they looked like and how much they cost.
Not counting the cost of the boots I bought for myself and son and not counting the jeans because we just used ones we already had - the total cost to make these estimated to be about $43 for the shirts, hats, fabric and supplies (fabric glue, fabric dye...ect) for both costumes combined...AND if you ask me - they are much cuter than the store bought ones :)
So anyway - for all you Toy Story fans out there who have little ones that love dress-up - check out my "How To" on eHow http://www.ehow.com/how_5578342_make-jessie-costumes-toy-story.html?shared=true
*I'm a person who doesn't sew - ever....so this was my first go at it and it was pretty simple - the vest was the only thing I actually sewed :)
