And a lot of other free stuff I found online this week!
I have to rave about the Schwann's offer. I went to the offer and picked out the Chicken Pot Pies, not expecting much at all. I really, honestly didn't think the item would come. I really, honestly believed they would give me a catalog and tell me I had to order something and that would be that. Well....
THEY DELIVERED MY ITEM TODAY!!! And, much to my surprise, the delivery/salesman wasn't pushy at all. He gave me my chicken potpies, he gave me a catalog and he left. Then to my triple surprise, I found a few items that are quite affordable. Not everything is a good value, but I did find a few things that are frugal and time savers for me. So, I will be placing an order at least once to try the items. If they are of an extra-high quality, well...they've got a new customer!

This week I also received my FREE 6-piece chocolate dipped fruit from Edible Arrangements. We picked it up (because to have it delivered there was a $12 charge). Luckily, the location was nearby some places we needed to go to run errands on Monday. Well...I'm glad we picked it up! The presentation was beautiful, the fruit generous. I'm the cheapest person I know, and I would actually pay $15 for this item and purchase it as a special gift for a friend or family member as a birthday gift. We received 3 dark chocolate dipped strawberries (very generous size, generously dipped in chocolate) and 3 orange wedges (also very generous size and generously dipped in chocolate). While I was in the store picking up my freebie, I picked up a catalog. They are pricey, but they do have BEAUTIFUL arrangements, and I may not use them often, but I think I would order a very special birthday or anniversary gift at least once per year. I was impressed. I guess it does pay to giveaway a nice freebie! Definitely a genius marketing plan for both Schwann's and Edible Arrangements!
