You know...when I woke this morning, I had NO idea what I had coming......it started out a NORMAL day...as I/we know it. You know, breakfast, arguing amongst the girls...the normal day. I did laundry, the girls did their normal lessons for the day. At about 12:30 I got a call from hubby. He says "you'll never guess who just called me"....and then said oh hunny, I have to call you back..I have to take this call. GRRRRRRRRRR!!! Oh, how I hated that. So, a half an hour later he calls back and says "Vanessa called". Now let me take you back. This is a gal he has known since birth. She is like an annoying sister to him, and always has been. I have always tried to be very patient with her. I have known her for years, and have helped her through so many issues...he always told me "why in the hell do you go through so much trouble for her?" About a year ago, she and I had a falling out. I told her how I felt about how she was angry about how NO one came to her wedding. She did not send out invitations, and she married at the court house. I tried to explain to her why MAYBE people did not show up. She did not like what I had to say and BLEW up on me via email. She said some really nasty things, and I left it at that. Mostly because she attacked my character, and belittled me. She told me to lose her number and email address.....so, I did. I had gone through so much with her, and I was done at this point.

ANywhoey...she was stranded in Manteca, CA. because she crashed her rental car and need to be picked up. She is here now, because my husband picked her up. I told him that he should. She is so pointless. I tried to talk with her, and it is so POINTLESS. The whole world is against her, according to her.....UGH! My husband has already screamed at her and told her to get out...she did, and then I made him go get her. He did. I tried talking to her again. Why do I bother??? OK. I am venting. Maybe I will continue this in the morning. I am so beyond tired...if only I knew this morning that my day would end like this, I ....well....I don't know what I would have done differently...goodnight!

Whew~

Friends can be challenging especially the ones that thrive on drama. I feel for you but taking her in for a night is what we do for friends, the trick now is to make her feel unwelcome enough to leave...

Jerry dropped her off this morning. He told her that she was not welcome in our home anymore...the sad thing is is that she left her friend and her daughter here....not sure what to do with them....ugh. I'm going to go take a shower...

Wow Adele, that is insane! I have honestly never had something like this happen! With me when a friend leaves my life, it kinda stays that way. Or if they venture back it sure isn't right into my home!

I think you did the right thing by trying, by asking your husband to try. By giving her the benefit and by speaking with her. What SHE chose to do with those niceties on your (and your husband's) part is all on her.

Take a rest, see where the friend and daughter need to go, and just take it from there. You are a master of planning, getting things done and being a go getter....

GO GET EM!

Thanks Bean....she found her way back to my house...she is now sitting outside with her suitcase...oh, what my neighbors are probably thinking....ugh!!!! Her friend is on my couch half asleep. I sent the girls to the neighbors house because Willow was not dealing well with this, and they just don't need to be here right now. I can't wait until they are gone...supposedly the friends son is coming to pick them up, but he is coming from almost 4 hours away!!!

This is way too much for me to deal with. We don't have drama here, ever, and what this chick did is over the top. It doesn't seem to bother at all either... grrr!!

Oh, honey, you do have a tender heart!

Bless you for your patience.

I am so sorry that you & hubby had a difference of opinion & I do hope that the young lady in question will see that the world is a friendly place & that she can change her circumstances with just a teensy adjustment in perspective.

Do get some rest & have a happier day tomorrow.  You're such a sunbeam that having a little raincloud in your home must really try your considerable patience.  *wink*

Hugs...Ceci

Good Grief!

Wow hon, you need a medal and well, a parade for putting up with all of that!! I just couldn't do it, not at all. I sure hope this gets somewhat easier for you, very quickly. Life is too short and too precious to have people such as she sucking the beauty from it! You're a dear for dealing with that for so long... hang in there sweetness... keep us updated if you can. "After all, tomorrow is another day"

xoxo
