EBAY Shipping?

Hello,  I hoping that one of my friends are able to help me here.  I have gone through some of my things at home and have finally got my pics and descriptions for ebay.  I get everything done EXCEPT the shipping part.  I do not want to under charge this area.  I really really don't understand how to do this part.  I do not want to offer free shipping but I don't know how to figure out how much it will be since I don't know if anyone buys them where they will be located.  I am sorry to bother you but could you please just guide me. 

I am looking to list a leather jacket, a vtech driving toy, a little leapster lap book, a first words puzzle, and a couple cook books.

I am looking for a new photo for my jacket.
