So my husband, being the sweet man he is, stopped at walmart to pick up a hallowwen costume for our new baby girl and there weren't any. So as he continued on towards home, he stopped at the multiple walmarts along the way - no luck. He is almost home now and there is only 1 walmart left, nada. So he finally gets the attention of a store employee and asks where all the costumes have gone. She asks him if he looked in the baby section (that's where he'd been checking) and they both find out that the costumes have been boxed up to make way for all the Christmas clothing. WHAT?!?!?!?
This was yesterday and Halloween hasn't even been and gone yet and they removed the costumes?!?!?!? He also informed me that half of the Halloween section in the front was now Christmas as well!!! They could at least wait for the holiday to be over to start packing things up!
Comments:
I hate Walmart but I'm about to go there tonight (I have to get wipes and milk anyway, it'd just be a little further out of my way then where I usually go) and see what's up. That's just stupid on their part. They could make some money on people buying things for NEXT YEAR, which is what I love to do.
Our walmarts did that too.. there is a TON of Christmas stuff now.. and hardly anything halloween left for mark downs.. (Which I always waited for.. guess not this year..)
Are you sure they didn't just move them to another part of the store - taht's what the ones around here did.

What? Our Wal-Marts don't do that. They keep the stuff out for like a week after Halloween on major markdowns trying to get it out of there.
