So, my kid has swine flu and I'm broke.

That's my Saturday.  Anyone else?  How's everyone else's week going? I'm looking for the nearest cliff. 

Dear God.  I guess if your kid has swine flu, he can't go to daycare?  No? Well that sucks, that really sucks, because I had pink eye and a cold and the flu this week, so i missed three days of work.  And since im broke no matter what, I'd rather Rusty work when he has to, oh and also because he's the main bread winner and if he gets fired we really will be out on the street in less than a week. 

So, my 14 month old son has swine flu...lungs are clear, face is covered in snot, par for the course.  I'm not panicking, yet, except that I can't get the fucking Tamiflu prescription filled because everyone else has the flu.  And instead of faxing the script over to the other Rite Aid, which actually had it, the idiot at rite aid just gave me back the script.  My sick kid is in the car.  I'm losing my mind.  I actually take the script instead of asking him to fax it over.  Now, I need to somehow get that script over to the pharmacy that has it, but my son has a 103 temp, so how the hell am i supposed to manage that???

I have 60 in account, with only another 80 going in next week, with over $400 that needs to go out including an electric bill that is over 2 weeks overdue and a car payment and daycare. 
What the hell am I going to do? 

I can honmestly say that I am actually very calm typing this.  I'm not freaking out that my son has swine flu because the only thing that actually treats swine flu is tylenol and TLC.  I'm not freaking out about the script because we're still in the 48 hr window, either way, to make sure we treat it in time.  And financially?  Well, i'm so far in the hole, what good will it do me to have a breakdown over it now? 

But the facts remain:  I am broke, more broke than I have ever been, and if I miss another week of work to stay home with the baby I can kiss my A+ credit score goodbye.  The Rite Aid pharmacist on this side of town is an idiot- and who the hell ever determined there should be multiple rite aids in the same town anyway? I wouldn't be having this problem if it weren't for rite aid idiots.  My son does have swine flu, which means he's at high risk for pneumonia, other junk I can't remember right now, and scary things the media is lying about to create more hype. 
So, I say with my middle fingers high in the air: 

FUCK YOU 2009!  GO TO

HELL AND BRING ME BACK MY CANDY.

that really sucks I hope your little boy gets better, everything will be ok, you will pull through all of this. I know its hard, but think of it this way...2009 is almost over! My ds is sick now with a cold but that is all it, he just wants to cuddle all day and has no appetite. i want some candy too lol.
