I just made the mistake of reading a question in Answers, in which a mother was asking about the difference between formula brands and types. This quickly turned into a nasty back-and-forth between bitches with condescending attitudes--on BOTH sides.

But what I am SICK of seeing, over and over again, is women referring to advocates of breast milk as Nazis.

I don't recall ever torturing and gassing anyone. I don't remember starving people to death and shooting anyone point blank in the face. I don't remember when the last time was that I butchered babies. I don't think I've ever burned, maimed, shot, killed, or terrorized another human being.

So don't call me a fucking Nazi, just because I think breast milk is pretty great stuff.

I hate the nazi crap.  Nazi has somehow replace what should say "PRO" on CM.  Pro-breastfeeding is now BF Nazi.  Pro-healthy eating is now you're a food nazi.  Lame.

there IS a difference bettween a BF support and a BF Nazi. there are some women who go wayyyy over the top about breastfeeding. its sad in any case. i dont recall ever seeing any writings from you that would infer you are in the bad category that gives breastfeeding supporters a bad name. I am sorry that someone treated you that way

I don't go there much.  Calling people "boob nazi" or "nipple Nazis",  in my opinion, cheapens what really happened during world war 2.
