lunas halloween! 11.1.09

well the day dident go as i had hoped. scince dh was supposed to be working i was going to take luna to the library to read some books and let her play by the fountain. the back home to get ready and go trick-or-treating. wellllll we ended up sleeping in till 12! then my fil came over and we went to a sync demo and then to ford. luna feel asleep in the car so i said id wait for them so luna could get a nap in before the candy hour. it was already getting late and finally after almost 2 hrs they come out. (my fil kept asking questions about tons of random things). so now it was 7:30 and my bil birthday party was at 8......... we go home get luna dressed and head out at nearly 8:30! we went down just two streets about 5 houses and it got close to 9 so we decide to just get going. luna had fun trick or treating though. 

at first she was warry of the houses, dident really know why we were walking up to random houses. but by the third house she had it down packed. she ran up the driveways and knowked on the doors, i had to say trick-or-treat for her, but she put in a smile, then she hold up her bucket, turn around and wave bye bye. now at tow houses they offerd her the bowl to take her own candy and she grabed 2 or 3 pecies buuuuuut right as she turned to leave she would grab a few more, the people just lauhed and said it was to cute.

when we got to the birthday party it was same ol same ol. but as the night went on luna got comfortable around the other kids, and ended up playing chase with them, screeming like a amozoness woman lol then cake time! after every had thier peice and things settled down grandpa put her on the table and gave her a spoon.......she looked at the spoon and back at the cake then right on in she dug lol we finally got home at like 12:30 and luna was pooped!

this moring i let her pick a candy to eat with breakfast, an old tradition in my house. halloween is the one time i consider candy real food lol its a day of fun, and a day to endulge in yummy tastes plus she is the one who knocked on all the dorrs for it :)

she dident get to much but she had tons of fun and until a few more halloweens im sure she wont care about candy.

this marks her 2nd halloween!
