December 26th. LOL i get most of my stuff the day AFTER christmas for the follwing year.

I start thinking about what people might like, etc in September.  I have already bought 3 presents, and have a "shopping cart" on Amazon.com for the other things.  I'm just about done, although not all of it is actually bought yet.  LOL.  I start early because I do not use credit cards, so I have to buy a little every paycheck.

Haven't started buying yet, but I'm looking.  We don't have a big list, some people just get cash.  We don't do gift cards unless there is something someone actually wants at a particular store.  I already know what DH wants, youngest son is almost too difficult to buy for and he's still in the middle east until next year sometime, so that makes it even more difficult to get him something, and it has to be sent way in advance of Christmas, so he's first priority.  I can't send much because he would just have to ship it back home and there are things he won't be using over there.  So anything large will be waiting for him when he gets a chance to visit home.

I starrted in July this year, but usually I start on Black Friday.
