Today I am the vaccination information CZAR, so please review this article and related links.  If you THINK you know all there is to know about vaccinations, think again...

November is National Autism and Vaccination Awareness Month

OCTOBHOTSHOTER 31, 2009 (Cleveland, Ohio). The Journal of Natural Food and Healing has announced November 2009 as National Autism and Vaccination Awareness Month, to draw attention to the autism-vaccination link and to celebrate the nutritional and therapeutic advances that are effective in the treatment of the autism spectrum and other disorders. An electronic logo called HOT SHOT, shown at the left, is being released today in conjunction with the announcement. It includes the message to STOP and  “Learn First, Think Twice” before you vaccinate.

HOT SHOTs will help in the promotion of special events during the month of November to increase awareness and education of the Autism and Vaccination Connection and that vaccines are a major causative factor in autism and other life-long neurological and health disorders in children. One click on the HOT SHOT will take anyone to the Vaccine Nation Series and Autism Plus at the Journal, a compilation of articles and videos on the topics.

“Especially during this fall and winter, when toddlers and children are being made to take up to four unnecessary, ineffective, unproven and unsafe, experimental injections of flu and swine flu vaccines, we think it is the right time to designate November as National Autism and Vaccination Awareness Month”, says the Journal publisher David Michael. “Parents have the right to know about the toxic substances contained in vaccines and their known health effects. They also have the right to know they have the freedom to refuse vaccinations without harassment or discrimination.”

My grandson was just born yesterday. 6 lbs 2 oz's and the hospital just asked my daughter if she would like to give the baby the hep. B vaccine before he is discharged tomorrow. We don't know what to do especially because he might have a small cold. He is very congested and the hospital says that it is normal due to vag. delivery.

A recent study done with monkeys showed a marked increase in autism due to teh Hep. B shot. Also, we need to think about why we give a vaccine to a newborn for a disease that no newborn could possibly catch-- Hep. B is an adult disease among the sexually promiscuous and IV drug users. If the mother is positive for Hep. B, there is a very slight likelihood the baby will contract it, but other than that, I can think of no reason to give your grandchild that shot. Congrats on your new grandson!

Dr.Sears has an excellent book on vaccines and he outlines a delayed vaccine schedule for babies. It's not just the mercury (which is still in vacines), but also the aluminum to be very aware of. Aluminum is not regulated like mercury and is itself a potent neurotoxin. A child who receives their DTaP and other vaccines on the same visit can receive hundreds and hundreds of micrograms of aluminum.  We also need to think about why we give other vaccines: chicken pox? An extremely mild condition that nearly every child just a couple of deacades ago got! Polio virus is kept going around the planet BY the vaccine itself, as it is a live-virus. Tetanus? What newborn needs a tetanus shot? Are they going to be stepping on a rusty nail playing in the backyard soon? We completely over-vaccinate our babies. SIDS occurs most often from 2-6 months, the same time frame in which the DTaP vaccines are given. Too many, too soon.
