My Halloween was very eventful, but looking back at last night, I realized how magical it was. I took my son to many local Halloween and fall festivities and we had fun! I live in a college town and there is a small town within our town made up of homes and bars. Believe me, it was saturday night and Halloween, the bars were freakin packed! Well a friend of mine asked if I could babysit so she could go out. I had no plans so it wasn't a problem! I got lost on the way there lol but soon enough I found her home and she was off. Her son, about 13 or 14 months old was still awake and we hung out for a while. We spent quite some time outside. It was pitch black, we were surrounded by forest and the weather was cooling down along with a nice cool steady breeze. The lil man was pointing at the dancing trees and shadows, and I sang him a  song I learned from the rainbow family. He smiled and enjoyed the outdoors. I felt magic in the air. The neighborhood was quiet, just the breeze and occasional vehicle heard in the distance. The moon was bright with the occasional blanket of clouds. I could picture spirits dancing around, after all it was a special holiday to honor the dead. I imagined them admiring what I was admiring. I felt good energy all around me and I felt very safe. I sensed a happy and protected aura around the lil man. Reflecting back to that moment with him, sharing that moment with him, I finally was able to put together ideas for a book I am sewing for him! It is a very belated birthday gift. It seems like my creative side isn't in full bloom (in other words, procrastinated lol)  unless something magical happens! I love that feeling. Such a rush and such a seratonin boost. I got the patterns together and started sewing but the machine woke up my soon. Woopsy! Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow before seeing my friend! I'll post some photos of the finished book soon!

Your book sounds really cool.  I had a homemade book when I was younger that had things to do in it to teach you how to button, zip and tie.

Halloween is my favorite!!!!  I love the costumes, candy, trick or treating -- all of it!
