Sometimes you just can't win

 So my Friday evening was a little eventful. When I got home Lance & Sierra were visiting some neighboring friends. I stayed for a few to say hello but then I decided since I had wrote my Samhain spell to include our father, I would invite my brother to join in since he was closest to our father. My brother and I do not like one another. We've had arguments before but never quite like this.

I asked him about joining in the ritual but almost immediately we got on other subjects such as....why he doesn't want to be apart of the family.

I've tried many times to include him in Thanksgiving and other family gatherings. He always makes excuses. What am I to think if someone cancels coming to Thanksgiving dinner 3 yrs in a row just before the event? He says he wasn't lying. That his excuses were valid and I assumed he just didn't want to come. Well. Yes. I believe and still believe he was lying. He basically started yelling and when I in no uncertain terms told him to not yell at me he kicked me out of his house. So thats that. I've tried to be nice. I've tried to include him. No more. I'm no fool and won't put myself in that position again.

I'm so sorry that you got hurt, darling. 

You're a wonderful woman & I love how you hold family sacred & give everyone every opportunity to create family.  Your inclusiveness is beautiful & I am sorry that you got hurt.
