my neices and nephews, not to mention my dh, are very picky eaters. my sil came up with a few tips to please almost everyone. first, green beans. boring! but, if you sautee a clove of chopped garlic in 3 - 4 Tbsp. olive oil, then add beans, heat through, then add 2 Tbsp Grey Poupon COUNTRY Dijon ( this is super important, reg. dijon will break the sauce ) and mix thoroughly, you will have a winner. the olive oil, will cut the bite of the dijon and the sauce gives it all a new light. For corn, add 2 Tbsp butter or margarine, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp sugar or stevia based sweetener. Mix, heat, enjoy! Carrots? Mix in 2 Tbsp honey, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, salt and pepper to taste, 2 Tbsp butter or margarine, and 1/2 tsp lemon juice. Heat and serve. It'll knock your socks off!
