During the past couple of weeks Evan has been very hard to keep dressed. Every time I turn around he was taking off his clothes. So finally on Friday I decided to put underwear on him. It was the perfect day to start because all the kids were off school and I had no where I needed to be. Day one and he had no accidents and he was even telling me he needed to go potty. I was absolutely shocked! Day 2 and again no accidents and we even went to McD's for Kai's birthday and trick or treating with no accidents. He basically potty trained himself in one day and he just turned 2 in July! Well I was trying to figure out why he was so easy when Kai and Lillian were not so easy and I think in part it might be due to cloth diapers. Evan has always worn cloth diapers and I have heard it is much easier to potty train children who wear cloth rather than children in disposables because they can actually feel when they are wet. Disposables absorb so much kids can't feel when they pee. Evan knew when he was wet and that was why he was taking off his clothes.
So Evan is now a big boy and wearing underwear! He still wears a diaper at night because he is still my baby and he gets milk before bed. But one major change at a time! He is my last and I don't want to him to stop being my baby all at once!

Woohoo! I'm cloth diapering all my next children from now on. My SO said that when the time came he'd even buy me seperate washer just for diapers. Like just a used one that will hold up nicely.
