How I became "this way" (gay post)

This was sent to me by a good friend. He asked me to post it in light of what I've been discussing on CM lately. I think he sometimes comes off as a hetero-hater, but he's been through a lot. Try to look past that and look deep into his hearts through his words.

My name is Kenneth G. Whitney, Jr. This is the preface for my blog answering many straight women on how I became 'this way'.

     How did 'what' happen to me? How did being 'straight' happen to them? Did they just wake up one day with this condition known as being 'straight'? I think that they need to get psychological help to cure them of this illness, don't you? Straights are the majority. Ever notice how miserable most of these are? Ever notice how many sex crimes are perpetrated by both male and female heterosexuals? Ever notice how many divorces straight couples have. Yet, they are the only ones to marry? Ever notice how many sexually transmitted diseases they spread? Ever notice how many unwanted pregnancies they have? Ever notice how they never lose their jobs, etc for their sexual orientation by LGBTs?

     No one ever tries to tell straights that they are damned to hell for their orientation. No one tells straights how they are sexual deviates. They are not forced to go under psychological evaluation in order to be heterosexuals? They are not dishonourably discharged from the military for being heterosexuals? They aren't told to keep it in the closet or face the consequences. They aren't kept from adoption? They aren't kept out of teaching. They don't have their lives, finances and careers destroyed for simply being heterosexual. They aren't called names of hatred. They aren't told how they are bad influences on society. They aren't accused of forcing their agenda on society. They aren't viewed as some militant army of perverts wanting to destroy the traditional family structure. People don't stare at them; make fun of them; insult them; threaten them; ostracise them, question them out in public if they are out on a date, hold hands, kiss, go home and have sex, etc. But LGBTs are abused in such way.

     Straights aren't told to keep to a certain part of town. They aren't told to only frequent 'straight' bars, dance clubs, etc as that's where 'their kind of people belong'. They aren't told that they're just asking for it (i.e. trouble, problems, bankruptcy, beatings, threats, being fired, denied jobs, insults, reputation ruint, rumours spread, told to leave places, suffer discrimination, feel the sting of harrassment, maybe being murdered, etc). You show us haters. Show us that love of your's?

     Are all straight people evil to LGBTs? No. But it only requires one gun in the had of a LGBT-hater to end the life of one of my kind, LGBT. The instinctual paranoia and inbred hatred that many people have towards LGBTs is vicous and insane. They don't even know why they hate. They actually believe that they are on this Crusade to right some wrong and to rid the world of this queer plague. So punishing, hurting, ruining, threatening, beating or murdering some LGBT is transformed into some good deed in their twisted, delusional mind. People scare me, now. They smile in your face and then they go behind your back, use others and institutions to do their dirty work without your possibly ever knowing who attacked you.

     There is this 'cookie cutter' mentality or notion about males and females who are 'gay'. How many shades of straight is there? Merely being heterosexual doesn't imply that one is some paragon of virtue. How many of us have heard news stories about heterosexuals, male and female, who have perpetrated 'straight' , but violent and/ or depraved sexual acts towards males, females, children, the elderly, those challenged, those poor and/ or homeless and even animals? Yucky. Would anyone call these people 'correct', 'normal', 'moral', 'ethical', 'God-like', etc? No, I think quite the opposite. And most would want these sickos to be strung up or locked away by the government, though technically these horrible, criminal people are 'heterosexuals' as they chose opposite gender individuals. Will God welcome these criminals into heaven for not being homosexuals? Get the point?

     Some wonder why LGBTs can be so vocal about their sexual orientation. Heterosexuals think for LGBTs that it's all about their preferred sexual activity. Not so. We're not asking people to become anything other than they are. If LGBTs are forcing their homosexual views on heterosexuals, then heterosexuals aren't on society and LGBTs? A lot of LGBT isn't below the pants, but in the heart, mind and soul. Maybe a female is happifootball, working on the car, etc and a male being Mr. Mommy, showing his inner girl? And what of hemorphadites, people born with both complete male and feamle genitals? What of my kind, intersexes, people born with one gender genital complete and the other internal, underdeveloped yet very influential on their total identity that GOD has given them? Or has predetermined them, my kind to hell?

     I'm not asking anyone to become LGBT. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, religous  and political views. No I'm not out to hump every or any person 'my gender' who happens to bend over in the lockerroom, fitting room, restroom, etc. In the military, I don't think that we need to worry about lesbians or gays having sex when they are under attack by the enemy. Hmm? Sex or staying alive?

     Me? I want to have  a sex change to chose my physically secondary gender, female, which is my dominant mental, emotional and spiritual female gender over my dominant physical gender, which is male. I am received so much better by women, heterosexual and lesbian, when I am the 'real me'. Hmm. I fare so much better being honest about who and what I am.

     What do you think about this LGBT-haters? How many LGBTs are actually 'intersexes'. But even if they aren't, it's none of straights' business.

     Ever think about how many things that were unacceptable in the past such as woman not wearing a hat, showing their ankles, wearing two-piece swimwear, showing their belly button,  having a tan, wearing short skirts, wearing pants, not squating down to pick up things,  cussing, being sexually aggressive with males, having sex on the first date, etc were lowclass or taboo. Many sexual activities once considered taboo, by even heterosexuals, and even illegal are now expected activities by the common, everyday, heterosexual people such as oral sex, anal sex and an entire panorama of other fetishes. Hmmm. Why aren't these being viewed as destroying society? Aren't these causing unwanted pregnancies and spreading sexually transmitted diseases?.

     About marriage? It all comes down to money, benefits and insurance. These special interests are aggitating people's homophobic leanings to save business owners, insurance companies and the government money. Homophobia is a propganda campaign to exploit the backwards and smallminded. Live your lives; marry and have children. Let LGBTs live their lives, marry and raise families, also.

Excellent post... I honestly for the life of me can't understand how ANYBODY still believes being gay is a choice... It's not, just like being straight isn't. You just are, or you aren't. And this straight momma for one is all in favor of equal rights!

My dh and I discuss this a lot being that his father is gay. We still believe it is a choice. In the bible it discusses this issues. A person can find their own sex attractive but they make a choice to be with their same sex.
