well my son's IEP is 1/2 over....we got through the previous goals and the present levels....we got stuck on a previous goal that was NOT met and the resource teacher tried to say it was met.....not so fast! New goal must be made!
so we have to have a second session soon....my daughter's  IEP will be soon...that is easy....
whew! some progress was made but nothing has made it into paper yet...it is a Tri-annual...and I want a lot in writing....more than they even expect.....
The amazing news was his tri-annual testing results! the reading comp is suffering badly and we will be writing alot of goals and strategies around that...as is his behavior issues

This is what the IEP testing on his math states:-) :

On the timed math Fluency test , he scored in the Superior range. In Applied Problems , which is problem solving and analytical thinking he also scored in the Superior range. He worked through problems that were above his grade level and quickly and almost flippantly gave the answer...This included problems that had irrelevant information in the text.

Whoo hoo! I have heard he was advanced before but this is the first time he has scored Superior!
I am so happy for him:-)

it makes tackling the other stuff easier:-)

ps...soon to have round 2 of the IEP!
