Brooklyn girl winds up in hospital after being injected with H1N1 swine flu vaccine without parental permission

(NaturalNews) A six-year-old Brooklyn girl, Nikiyah Torres-Pierre,
was hospitalized recently after being injected with the swine flu
vaccine. The vaccination was conducted entirely without her parents'
permission in an incident school nurses are calling "a mistake."
Mother
Naomi Troy told the NY Daily News, "I was outraged." After receiving
the swine flu injection, her daughter complained she was itching and
her stomach was hurting. That's when school officials called an
ambulance that rushed Nikiyah to the hospital.
Nikiyah
is epileptic and takes prescription medication to treat the condition.
Her mother was concerned about the possible side effects of combining a
swine flu vaccine
shot with epilepsy drugs and was waiting to hear back from her doctor
before giving the school permission to vaccinate her daughter. That
permission was apparently irrelevant, as some schools simply vaccinate
any and all children without concern for parental permission.
After
injecting her daughter without permission, the school nurse then called
Naomi Troy and tried to persuade her to sign a consent form after the
fact. "I was insulted. I was really angry," said Naomi.
So far, 1,800 NY students have been vaccinated against swine flu. Hundreds of thousands more are in line to be vaccinated when a sufficient supply of vaccines is made available.

What this incident demonstrates is the important need for parents to protect your children from the vaccination agenda being pushed by the State.
Even without your permission, your children can be called to the
nurse's office and forcibly injected with a substance that could harm
or kill them.
You, the parent, might be called after the fact -- after your child winds up in the hospital, suffering from bizarre side effects even though doctors swore the vaccine was "perfectly safe."

coincidence" and couldn't be caused by the vaccine itself. How do they
know that? Because they've been told "the vaccine is safe." And they
believe it.
If you have a child in the public school system -- and you don't want them to be vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccines -- you need to take special precautions
by writing a strongly-worded note informing your school principal (and
nursing staff) that if your child is vaccinated without your
permission, you will sue for damages.

Yes, upsetting, should not have happened, but don't you think this story will just create more paranoia? You act as tjhough all health officials are out to get children and *gasp* protect them from the flu.
is this article stating that Health Dept employees were posing as nurses? If that's my understanding, then yes, someone has a very nice lawsuit on their hands. It is a federal offense to pose as a medical professional without proper licensing. Maybe even jail time for the employee who did it, and job losses for Health Dept. officials along with civil lawsuits and criminal charges., that ordered employees to pose as nurses. Lawsuit lottery on this one ding ding ding.
What many people don't understand about the H1N1 vaccine is that is meant for those who have weak immune systems and are more susceptible to getting sick. It's not meant for HEALTHY individuals. If you are healthy, there's no reason to inject a LIVE virus into your system. Just continue to eat balanced meals and wash your hands and you'll be fine.
RNsteph you speak as though I wrote the article (which I did not), so why are you saying that I'M doing this or that? I only posted the article as a journal to inform parents that this kind of thing CAN happen. While it is true that I am against the H1N1 vaccine it doesn't mean that I "wrote" the article to create any drama. I just know that A LOT of parents, vaccinating or not, are worried about this vaccine and are concerned about their children getting the vaccine at school. And I'm sorry, but I'd be PISSED if my child got this vaccine without my knowledge and/or consent and then my child became terribly ill because of it. Oh yeah, heads would be rolling!!!!
I was a school nurse for four years, and you couldn't so much as hand out vaseline without permission. This article just promotes irrational fear and is very irresponsible.
I'm not meaning to imply that you wrote the article, and like you, I would be angry if my child received a vaccine I didn't give permission for...however, the writer of this article appears to be spreading paranoia and by reprinting it, you are giving it justification.
And vegforanimals, the shot is not a live vaccine. Flumist, however, is a weakened version. Flumist does not contain thimerasol.
I don't think its paranoia, I think its something thats true and that should be spread so more parents can know because you never know where else it could happen.
I am pro-vaccination and even I'm outraged by this, If I had school-age children I would want them vaccinated WHEN and WHERE I choose, not just randomly vaccinated by some school nurse, or someone "helping" her, without so much as a permission slip with my signature on it. I absolutely believe the parents are entitled to compensation for their child's injuries. There has to be accountability somewhere.
