I could cry.  Maine repealed the right for same sex couples to marry.  Why does anyone care?  Why are people so mean spirited?  And most importantly WHY is it even put up for a vote?  Are we not citizens of the same country as other Americans?  I will never, ever understand why people give a crap who anyone loves and chooses to live with.  I am so sad.  We had hoped to get married in Maine.  This sucks.

I am sorry that you are not able to go forward with your plans to marry in Maine.  It does suck, ignorant people suck and this whole issue should be resolved already in a manner that treats every one the same way.  I wish you the best of luck figuring out your wedding plans since selfish ignorance destroyed your original plan.
