I have a new job!!!

I was laid off on 9/11, and I have a new job starting Friday promoting local events.  I have to go out to different businesses and promote our company, while soliciting our services. Trust me, I am still looking in the mean time just in case it is not for me, but I am hopeful. I will get paid a hourly wage, plus commission.

The company does weddings, baby showers, pageants, fund raisers with the daycares, and schools, and on and on. She needs me to do the marketing part, and I will get a gas card, cell phone, and laptop.  I think I will love it. Being at home with no job for almost two months was starting to get me depressed, this will get me out of the house, and around people again. Not that my children are not people....lol But still, you know what I mean.  It is only part-time though. Tuesday-Friday from 9 am to 4 pm, which is good being that I have five children to care for in the evenings.
