Halloween costumes this year

We had a Halloween party to go to on Friday, and had been lost as to what to wear.
My husband told me Friday morning, "it's very important that I be a banana tonight."

I stopped at JoAnn's and picked up 2½ yards of fleece, and two hours later:

This used an entire bag of stuffing.
I made the top a hood instead of a continuous shape so my husband could pull it down,
since he's a sweaty guy and I didn't want him roasting all night in a thick layer of fleece and fluff
and then sleeping next to me.

Then I figured I'd dig out the bunting I made for my nephew two years ago when his parents were gorillas.

It's no longer a bunting since Coen's older than my nephew was.

He had little maracas too but we left them at my parents' house.

Kalten wanted to be a fire truck.
I bought this plastic storage bin that fit over one of his push cars.
My husband and my dad made it into a fire truck.

It has LED taplights for headlights and red reflectors on the back.

We skipped naptime to party in the park, so when it was trick-or-treat time, this happened.
