Okay,
I have been avoiding the ever scarey "P90X Journal including Progress Pictures!" thing. Mostly just because of the picture part. I had 2 babies that were 13 months apart so my body took a lot of abuse from my pregnancies. I didn't gain a lot of weight (27 lbs with each) but my boys were HUGE. They were both over 9 lbs so my belly was larger than life. I used to walk around saying I was "Large and In Charge!" to joke about it but I was really just trying to hide the insecurities. I'm tall 5"8 and have always been thin. I danced for 13 years, I was never bigger than a size 6 and I was in really great shape. So it was really a blow to my self esteem when i came home from the hospital and everyone was joking about how "Well it's about time you knew what it felt like to be the fat chick!"...yeah, they actually said that to me. They weren't intentionally mean, they were just joking around but it did hurt my feelings. So I've decided to post my journal. Maybe it will help someone out there who has been or is in the same rut. I don't necessarily need to lose weight...but I'm just all skin, bones and flab. I've got extra skin, my abdominal muscles have separated because of how big my boys were and I just...well, I JIGGLE when i walk. I don't like it! So...here's my journey. I'm still in week 1 right now but here is my BEFORE shot! I'll update my progress pics as I go and add in my struggles along the way!
Before!:
Week One: Struggles include being really SORE! Ouch ouch ouch. Tony Horton really brings on the burn. Also, finding time to eat right. It's so much more convenient to just stop at a fast food place. Yeah, I know they have salads...but the lettuce is always brown
. I do feel energized and just generally healthier too. I've added some nutritionals to help me along.
Until next time....
Week 1 down!

I have to give you props for your letting your guard down to help others!!! Awesome! You look great. I've always been thin myself, same thing happened. I do think people are unsensitive, especially when you just had labor!! Remember, It took your body 9-10 months to hold and carry your baby. It will take about that long to get back in shape. Keep up the good work!!![]()
