Comments:
WOW. Sounds good to me... honestly I didn't have a birth plan with my son and I don't have one written up for this time around. I made it clear that I only wanted my husband to be allowed inside my room during labor and delivery, and that I was open to an epidural. I didn't like how they kept pushing me to get one from the moment I set foot in the hospital, it was so annoying. This time I"m going to make it clear please don't offer anything til I ask for it, preferably between 6-8 cm., and have baby brought to my chest, husband cut cord. For some reason that didn't happen with my son! Looks like you're really on top of things.
I had a plan but Genesis had other plans LOL I wish I had of told the nurses no formula,no pacifier, bottles but becase my breast was not engorged I thought my milk didnt come in yet so I waited two days before trying to breast feed. Breast feeding was harder because of it she didnt want to latch on and then when she did latch on because the milk was not coming out fast enough (like ina bottle) she would start crying. It took a whole team of lactation nurses to help me. Anywhoo 4mths later everything is going great! GOOD LUCK to you and stay strong through your birthing process!!
That is a great plan, you did a good job, I had one close to that and the doctor and hospital respected all of it I hope all goes well for you.
Much better! I like how you put in what you absolutely demand but did it in a non-condecending way. Great job. Now, if you could get past all the hospital policy BS! Good luck. Ask if you have any questions. ~Maryn
