I hate car insurance companies

Today I went and got the rest of everything out of my poor totalled van.  The pos insurance co wouldn't let me have my stereo, yet they didn't count that in the amout they are giving me for the van.  So, on monday I am calling and telling them they either need to let me have my stereo or add that money to my check.  I'm sure they will just tell me to take the stereo because they are such cheapskates.  It took them 3 1/2wks to get us a rental, but they are making me give it back monday even though I won't even have my check yet or be able to get a new vehicle.  How do they expect me to be able to get a vehicle if I don't have a vehicle to get around in.  I am definely going to add the stereo in the amount that we will get from the attorney, along with the carseats, and the loss of use per day.  They are supposed to replace my kids seats, pay us the loss of use per day and should have let me have the stereo since it wasn't counted in what they are giving me for the van.  If I have to I am even going to copy that page that they sent to me showing the breakdown of everything.  But on a good note, I did find my Taylor Swift Cd that fell in a crack under the stereo.  I was able to open that, I was almost doing the happy dance because I thought that was lost for good but its my favorite one.
