My trip visiting Grandma~

  Well, I'm back from my 2 week stay out at Grandma's house in Arizona. It was a lot of work watching my son on my own because he loves to get into all the things they have in their house. He enjoyed the visit though but was sooo happy to see Dad at the airport.

  The plane ride was okay. On a scale of 1-10 the ride with my son was a 8 which is quite good. The only problem was that we were stuck in the airplane just before take off for 45 minutes waiting for a sand storm to pass in Phoenix. Pretty scary because looking out the plane window I thought it was a bad thunderstorm but noticed it had a brown-orangy hue to it.  As the plane finally took off it shook a bit and I was wondering if I shouldn't have been so anxious to leave but after a few minutes we were in the clear! I'm just happy to be back home but miss my family already. :-(  

  My birthday is today!!! I try to forget about it now even though I'm not old. I'm 34 now and I'll be using that excuse to get my way today ~lol. I'm so tired though that I don't want to go out to eat or anything. This weekend we will be going to this place called the "Yard House" which has like over 100 beers lol and so I'll be ordering the yummy girly beer called "Purple Haze" which taste like fruity iced tea, YUM!!!

  Other then all that I got my wedding planner diploma in the mail today from the Stratford college. It was a lot of fun taking the course but now I will have to get a business started. I'm not sure when but at least I have some sort of goal lol.

May. 6, 2007 at 5:50 AM I know what you mean about family. I go home to visit and so many things that you grew up doing now seem foreign. I miss my family terribly when I come home from a visit...but oddly enough I miss my comfort of "my" home...even if it sits in a different state. lol. I miss my bed, my couch, my shower, and my husband. But heres to your safe trip home and a great birthday.
