My Accomplishments and a Little Garfield

How are you doing this morning? The days for me seem to fly by and I can't remember what I've done from one day to the next.

Saturday, today is Saturday. I've been busy since yesterday. 

~ Went to Ace hardware (again) to replace the fasteners for the windows on the screen door.

~I put them on. Still need to fix the lower window.

~ Cleaned the frig but still need to wipe down the shelves.

~ Cleaned out the freezer.

~Cleaned out the bottom of the frig- it looked like an animal had gotten in there.

~Waxed floor in the basement for the last time. That makes about 4-5 coats.

~Went over the floor in the back basement

~ Cleaned off the heater in basement, turned it on to make sure it works. So far so good.

~Taped around molding, light fixtures and the vents - ready for painting

~ Washed all the dishes.

~ Sweep and mopped under the stove.

~ Attempted to fix the broken handle on the bottom drawer to stove. Screw missing tired to improvise with one that is too long. It will do until I can go back to Ace.

~ Bought a few groceries.

~ Cooked hamburger (seasoned) and put in freezer.

~ Seasoned pork chops - put in freezer

As I look around the house it still looks as if I've done nothing but this list tells me I have.

Need to research the weather stripping  I have on my doors. I need to replace the current ones. Being sick, you feel every breeze that comes in the house. God is good. I will not be overwhelmed. I just need some sleep.

Laundry - God knows I need a washing machine and dryer. I think I need to unwind. How about reading some Garfield with me? I'm going to get a  cup of tea and relax while Angel is still asleep. 

Time to unwind.

Thank you! The day is gorgeous outside. I am thinking about trying to paint the metal doors while it is so nice outside. It's suppose to be around 60. I can't believe it! I am going to do my best to enjoy the day.

Holy Moly girl...You did all of that BEFORE I even considered getting out of bed this morning!!!! * Hangs head in shame * ...No not really :-)

You have done more work today then I have done in a month!!!

It sure was fun reading Garfield with you ummm about 9 hours later....LOL ..

Same place ~ Next Saturday~ Even 9 hours late again..

Yup, even reading about housework tires me!!  Congrats on gettin all that done! Whew!!!!

But the rule in Chicago is: When the weather is unseasonably warm, you have to get out because it will change fast &  you have to take advantage of it as soon as possible!!!!
