I recently read a story about a woman that had two vaginas and two uteruses (uteri? uterusi?).  Click here.  My questions is how insane would you go if you had to deal with two of these things?

Would you try to keep both or would you have one removed? I find this whole thing so interesting.  I would love to hear your thoughts.

That is insane! I've never heard of that happening before. She certainly won the genetic lottery!

I had a friend in HS who was really unhappy to learn that she had two uteruses (?). She only had one vagina though. I have no idea what she did with her extra uterus, but other than for the purpose of having children I'm not too fond of the ONE I've got. My vagina is ok, but there are many months I spend hating my uterus. I'd definitely have at least one removed, maybe both like Su suggested.

Sounds like perhaps she absorbed her twin.

Hard to say what I would do--removal is pretty major.  No matter what, I know I would not be happy!

When I worked as a manager for BK years ago I had a girl that worked on my shift who had two uteruses(?). It was something that she found out when she first started having her periods at 13. It made her periods really, really heavy and painful. She was told that she wouldn't ever be able to have children because of this and some other problems she had, which she didn't elaborate on.  She was 17 when I met her and she and her mother were actually in the process of trying to decide if they should have both removed before she graduated for insurance reasons or wait a couple years. The girl wanted to wait a couple years in the hopes that a miracle would happen and she would become pregnant. It's a crappy decision for anyone to have to make especially when you are that young.

I have 2 and 2 cervixes, and it's not worth having surgery to remove one.  I have also been able to carry 3 children (seperately) I think one of them does not carry kids, because I carry babies in the same uterous every time.
