Freelancing article writing

 I am a freelance article writer, looking for work daily so I can suppliment my income and perhaps become a stay at home author. This is not one of the easiest fields to get into but no one ever guaranteed life was going to be easy.

I have a few sites I write on and have even sold many of my articles. There is no better feeling than to open my email to see a message that my article has been accepted and the payment will be sent to my PayPal account. The monetary gain is essential but the real reward is the acceptance of my work.

This is where the tricky part comes in. Pitching my work so I may get more work doing exactly what I love, writing. Seeing the words I have written in print is exciting and invigorating. When I have a hard day it seems if i can have a few hours to myself then something good happens as I type an article. It is my way to relax and unwind while knowing there may be a chance to add to the household income. It is definately a win/win situation.

Being an older mother, with my daughter on to a life of her own, affords me the time I have to write now. I truelly miss having her here and writing also fills the void of the empty nest. So, I'll continue writing, whether it be for profit, blogging or to simply have as an outlet for my creative thoughts. The words flow and it is something I enjoy doing.
