Sharing isn’t always fun but it makes others happy. It’s a good thing when everyone has something, even if it means you don’t get as much.

People may be different but as long as you can play well together that is all that matters.

It doesn’t matter if clothes match or have expensive labels so long as they help you keep warm or cool and cover your bum.

Dirt won’t kill you.

When we grow up, we want to be heroes. Firefighters, doctors, teachers. Money is secondary to helping others and having fun.

It’s okay to cry over your toys being ruined. Things are meant to be cherished, not disposed of at the first chance.

Dancing is fun. Do it often, even if you look funny doing it.

Singing is fun. Do it often, even if you sound funny doing it.

Hugs and kisses take away a lot of pain. So do nice words.

Big boys and girls do cry.

When something makes you unhappy, make your opinion heard. Nobody will change anything unless they know that others don’t like it.

Friends are awesome and very important.

It’s okay to be afraid sometimes. Just don’t let it ruin your life.

Spinach is gross.

Naps are very important. They make you feel rested and ready to tackle the rest of the day.

Mom is beautiful, even if she isn’t nipped and tucked and bleached into a size zero. That means you are beautiful too, even if you aren’t nipped and tucked and bleached into a size zero.

It’s important to make a sad friend feel better.

Birthdays are a special day. It’s the day that you came into this world and should be celebrated! Balloons aren’t always necessary but they sure make it more fun.

Love is everything. Tell the people you love so frequently.
