ok, i want an honest opinion, most people say they like the name i got picked out, but sometimes i am not certain if they are just being nice, i have a long name for my daughter, but there are reasons for the first and middle name, her name will be Annaleighya Sapphire, the first name is a combination of Anna and Leighya or Leah (i went for a unique spelling cause people kept just saying AnnaLee instead) her middle name is the Gemstone, but heres the thing, my moms middle name is Ann, her dad's middle name was Lee, and his mom's name was Annie Lee, so that one name pays a tribute to 3 generations of my family, and with how long it is i figure in school they'll call her Anna for short, my sister already calls her Leelee, lol, and her middle name, is uncommon i guess, but the story behind that is a little weird, you see DH and i tried for so long to get pregnant and we were deciding on names long before we got pregnant, well, one day after i worked a midnight shift and i was sleepin and DH was at work i woke up and out of the blue i had the name Sapphire in my head, now we also had another name that had Emerald as the middle name so i thought it fit a bit of a pattern and i liked it, and it went so well with the name Annaleighya, then DH comes home from work and is like hey i thought of a middle name for annaleighya, i was like really so did i, so he asked me what i thought of and i told him but when i did he burst out NO i thought of that name first, it was so funny, out of the blue we both thought of the name Sapphire for the middle name and it was kinda freaky you know, but anyway, enough rambling, i was just wanting an opinion of people who are not my friends and family so i can get an honest opinion
Comments:
I like it just the way it is, and I wouldn't shorten it because others will have a hard time, but maybe so it's easier for her to spell and tell people for valentines(don't ask why that is what I'm mentioning).
Personally, I think the y at the end is overkill, and is somewhat awkward. Annaleigha would be pronounced the way you want. However, I LOVE how the name sounds out loud, and I love, love, love the middle name Sapphire!
I love the name and I think that other people trying to figure it out in the future is their problem not yours! Sorry just being honest. I think that trying for so long is hard, and there fore your baby's name should have a lot of meaning and it does. Also I am named Bobbi-jo after my father Bobby and my uncle Joseph that passed before I was born. That being said when I was younger and still to this day for that matter, no one spells my name right! Good luck and I love the name!

Ok, here is an honest opinion! I love how you're trying to combine the 2 names. That's really cool for your family. I love the sound of the name, it very pretty. However, the way you've spelled it makes it WAY too long and it will be so hard for people to spell. What about spelling it Annalea? It sounds the same, but will be MUCH easier to spell and say for people. Sapphire is cute and different. Fun for a middle name.
So there's my suggestion. Annalea Sapphire! I hope I didn't hurt your feelings.
