Found this while studying the Navajo recently. It's called a night chant and is used (as I understand it) in the treatment of paralysis or psychotic illness. I just think it's a great thought to get you through the day:
May it be beautiful before me.
May it be beautiful behind me.
May it be beautiful below me.
May it be beautiful above me.
May it be beautiful all around me.
In beauty it is finished.
This one is called the Beautyway Song and is a chant used for addressing aches in the body and confusion. Again, I simply liked the thought behind it:
Today I will walk out
Today everything evil
Will leave me,
I will be as I was before,
I will have a cool breeze
Over my body,
I will walk with a light body,
I will be happy forever,
Nothing will hinder me!
