I love spices. I grow my own lavender, thyme and rosemary so they are always in my kitchen. Other spices I can't live with out are coriander, and cadmium - my husband is East Indian so life with out them is a no-no. I really enjoy being able to grow my own herbs. Not only is it much cheaper, but I like the idea of just being able to take what I need while still sustaining the plant. I do dry some of it, but mostly I use it fresh.
I had to modify the question a bit because I am mainly talking about herbs. But that's ok I am sure it is allowed.
Comments:
or I forgot all about seasoning salt, and I should have added chilli lime salt as well
MY SEASONING I USE IN THE KITCHEN THE MOST IS GREEK SEASONING YOU CAN PUT THAT ON ANYTHING. IT REALLY BRINGS THE TASTE AND FLAVOR OUT OF THE FOOD ITS GREAT ON ANY MEAT IN THE OVEN OVER THE STOVE OR EVEN ON THE GRILL, YOU CAN EVEN PUT IT ON YOUR SALAD, LIGHTLY. NOT ON FRUIT . BUT I LOVE IT.
HAVE A SUNSHINE DAY.
