I am currently not on track...but I want to be, hope to be.....someday soon.
I have been so caught up in who I used to be and what I used to look like that it has literally sucked the life out of me. Not anymore. I vow to:
1. Take an extra 5 minutes to do something, anything, with my hair at least twice a week that does not involve a rubber band.
2. Accept that traditional exercise is not going to happen right now, but I can lift my son for 20 reps, chase him around the house for 15 minutes, and throw in a couple squat tosses (squat down, then toss him up) to help get my metabolism going and improve my energy level.
3. Accept that 8 hours of sleep is also not in the cards, but I can take a nap with my son on the weekends. It won't make up for the lost sleep during the week, but his sweet breath on my cheek makes anything bearable.
4. Stop complaining. Stop listening to other people complaining.
5. Do something to help somebody else, preferrably without them knowing the source.
6. Set aside 30 minutes a week address any area in the house that has been neglected....dirty window sills, clutter that needs to be gone through, ect.
7. Give my husband at least one night a week in which no request is unreasonable.
8. Make an attempt to not eat 2 cartons of ice cream a week.
9. Call my mother more.
10. Not let the ups and downs of life distract me from what I know is true: I am an overcomer and I am capable of accomplishing anything!
