This is our second baby, and boy were they not kidding when they say each pregnancy is different. I was sick with my son, but I could eat literally everything and not feel sick. I had a ton of cravings and food always made me feel better. This pregnancy is completely different. Not only am I sick and nauseated almost constantly, food sounds DISGUSTING.
I have to force myself to eat. The only thing that goes down without a fight is water. I haven't been throwing up, which is a miracle, but I hate hating food! I'm almost 8 weeks along now, and I just can't go through this for another few weeks! My husband made a recipe with hamburger in it and I was stuck in my room all day today because I can't bare going into the kitchen and smelling the meat! It's all been cleaned up, the trash has been taken out but I STILL smell it! I smell EVERYTHING!
I've lit some candles around the house hoping that the nice smell will help me feel better, but even the candles smell horrific to me. I just want to sit in a room with no smells or food of any kind. Compared to my pregnancy with my son Tommy, this pregnancy is the pregnancy from hell. I thought I had it bad with the first, but I had NO idea. Bless all the souls out there who experience this once and have the courage to do it again.
Someone please tell me this will pass and I'll be able to eat like a normal person again. Anyone else have this problem with any of their pregnancies? DId you find anything that helped or did you just have to bare it?
