I started our christmas shopping today.

My husband took agroup of boys to Cape for something to do with building brigers.  We went to the mall & lood around.  I ffound some things I was to get our kids.  I did buy some jewelry to split up for all of the girls.  I even bought some for next year's halloween.  I still have to find a few christmas earrings for the girls.  We took Rose with us since her mom had to work & her dad is still looking for a job.  He has one job but it's parttimes & they need fulltime work.  This one sounds promises so I pray it goes his way.  He as been looking high & low for a job....any job.....just a job to do everyday & pays decietly.  We ate in the mall & the foot gave me heartburn....I hate that.   Rose did really good.  She was driving me crazy at times but all & all she was a good kid.  We are potty trainer & she did so good.  She always told me & if I did't believe her she got upset.  That would be when I would start listening to her.  She was dry the whole trip & all day long.  I had forgotten how horrid time it is to potty train.  I would rather change diapers than potty train a kid.  I was one of those moms that would say just go play & i'll take car of it.  They may have planned it that way but so what.  I live by the saying if you want it done right do it yourself.  It sure does minimiz the work you have to do when they finish.  

Today, I was looking at gifts.  I found several things my mom would have loved to have & I would have bought them for her this year.  I like to give everyone a special oritiment each year & I found one that says Nana bc that's what the grandkids called her & one that says grandpa for my stepdad.    I was mostly just getting ideas of what to get everyone.  So I bought a ton of jewelry.  Some of it is for halloween next year.  I also found jewelry that my granddaughter like hopefully.  Since Rose was with us she saw them & wanted to know who they were for.  First person that comes out of her mouth is Gabie.  I said that they were for all the girls.  I've got lay them out to see what will go to who.  Rose already has her 2 braclets.   I went to Clairies, my favorite jewlery store & got most of the for $1.00 but regular prices range from $4.50 to 10.00.  I had to get a pair for me of course.  I looked for boys stuff & found some nice stuff so I'll have to go back & get them in a few weeks.  We went to Macys & all I thought about was being with my mom shopping there.  I looked around the house wares dept for awhile with my husband but then moved over into the girls clothes.  They have so many really cute outfits & dresses.  They also sale those dolls that have the same dress as the one you buy for your girl.  I would love to buy one of each of my girls but it isn't happening this year.  I bought some more earrings in Romancing the Stone store, another of my favorite stores.  I can't wait to give the jewelry to all the girls now.   I even found gifts that Bob & I can buy each other that won't break us. 

The mail was all decorated for the season.  I always carry  my camera with me so I took some pictures of Rose standing around different areas & things at Santa's Place.  I took her picture standing next to his sleigh.  We've mixed poor Rose up about Santa Claus.  Bob has a Santa Suite, boots, bag & hat.  He has grown his beard out which is white.  So you see he does look just like Santa.  She looks at the pictues of him & her together & says grandpa hold Rose.   I've been telling her when he is in the suite he is Santa.  But she gets it all mixed up & it gets funnier as she goes on.  She starts switching everyones names around..  I'm Rose, she is grandma, grandpa is Santa, mommy is daddy & daddy is mommy. 

Today we left here at 7:30.  We waited for the boys & left school at 8:15.  We made it to Cape about 9:55.  They said they didn't need up again until 1:30  So we went to the mall.  We shopped & Bo & Rose lost me.  When priced a tub we are wanting in our downstairs bathroom.  There prices were alittle higher that what we had gotten from the other companies.   We want a walk in bathtub & shower.  They run about $2000 to $5000.  But we are planning for our old age so that typed of bath would be best. 

Bob played the claw game for Rose & got a softball sized bouncy ball.  She was so proud of it.  She got skettles for doing so well on the pottying & for eating most of her lunch for me.  Bu that time Bob & I were dragging but she was still wanting to shop more.  But she did except stopping bc we had to pick up the kids, as she calls them.   The boys were late coming out to the bus so we got off schedule bad enough that Bob had to call the garage to have another driver take his routes for him.   He really scared me today.  He is a dietebtic & he was having problems.  He thought his blood sugar level was too low so we ate lunch & he added a candy bar for a desert.    He had to keep stopping to sit down.  I wasn't sure he was going to be able to even get back to the bus much less drive it.   But he did it.  I was watching him close.  I was so happy when we finally got to the bus garage so we could go home.  Of course I drove us home.  The he sat in his recliner & didn't move much.  Nathan & Brandi cooked dinner.  They are really sweetheart to us sometimes, well most of the time really. 

I added 2 lines back to my cell account & got the phones today.  The first one worked fine but the other one had problems.  So I call AT&T to try to get this fixed.  I had ordered the phones online & processed add 2 lines to my account.  Well,  they made the second phone a go phone which is a prepaid services, & I don't want that.  So I explained it to one guy & he didn't have a clue, so he transfered me to another person, she couldn't do it so I got transfered again.  I was transfered 4 times.  The last guy I spoke with was real patient , explaned to me that the family plans can only handle 5 lines so the 6th line was send as a go phone.  He said it would be no problem changing it & he would activate it then.  I had to stop him & tell him the plan that I want on this account & he told me it was put in that way but it won't show until tomorrow.  He told me to check my account online.   I'll check tomorrow & I will be really mad if he didn't fix it the way I wanted it.  This isn't the first time we had 6 lines on our account but I don't remember how they did it the last time.  It still has not been activated like he said it would be in an hour. It's been 3 1/2 hours already. 

My kids, Nathan picked out a phone he wanted & I talked Brandi into taking my phone bc I didn't like.  So I ordered a new phone for me.  The phones come in & Nathan doesn't like his but he likes mine new one.  So we switch.  Then when I found out that we have 2 accounts & only 1 phone on one of them, I asked Brandi if she needed/wanted the texting.  I don't do that but we have a family play for unlimited texting.  So we switched phones.  I didn't want to had to pay twice for everything we have.  The kids will pay the 2nd account & I will pay the orginal one.  Nick & Danielle are on our account which is why I got the family texting cause they use it so much.  I am fine without it.   I'm thinking about adding the unlimited data but you pay per phone & that would be too high for us right now.  I may check how much to have it on the 2nd account.  Then I could have the internet on my phone.  The kids pay for whatever we add for them & for their line.  So the bill really isn't too bad. 

Well,that was about my day.  Rose exhusted me again.  We played the see who can be quite the longest.  She lost ever time, no surprise there.  The longest she went without talking was a whole 20 seconds.  Grandp & I had to laugh.  She kept saying ready now grandpa.  I'm glad she likes the new game maybe we can use it as a way to length the amount of time she can go withour saying something, then grand;a won't have to write her up.  Yes he plans for her to ride his bus cause we don't really trust alot of the drivers.  I wasn't worried so much on the daily routes, it the drivers taking the trips.  There are a few that I think should not be driving kids about due to his health. 

I got to thinking about all my kids today, mostly my boys.  We are going to my inlaws, so Nathan, Brandi, Nick & Danielle will be here alone.  Niether wants to travel to the others house.  Nick has to work on Thanksgiving so he wants to do a dinner at his place on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  He thought of that all by hisself.  I am so pround of him to be thinking like that.  Travis I don't have to worry about bc they will by with his inlaws.  My stepdad has to invites for the day.  So he may hit one for dinner & the other for dessert.  So I have everyone being with someone to celebrate Thanksgiving.  But that doesn't mean I've stopped missing my mom.  I think this year I am just running away to not face Thanksgiving without her.  I think I am entitled to that though.

Sounds like you had a good time. Do you like AT&t for cell phones? We have Tmobile, and I have been thinking of going to them at the first of the year because I want the Iphone. Plus, dh has his work phone with att&t so it would be free to talk.

I love AT&T cell.   The first cell service I had was with them years & years ago.  I've had Verizon, T-mobile, & a trac phone.  I like AT&T best but they were Cingular when my dh started the account.  I love the rollover minutes & since they have 3g now I can even get service in my basement.  The only places I've been without signal was in KS going back & forth from the prison & I was on 2-lane highways with nothing around for miles & miles.  I think they are cheaper than Verison & T-mobile.  I have 6 phones on our account with unlimited texting & the bill is between $150-200 a month.  Sounds like a lot but my previous cell phone bills with the other companies was higher than that with less services & only 2 phones.  We were thing about switching to Verizon cause every one said it was better but I didn't want to give up having rollover minutes.  We have the 700 minute plan but we have 700 + 2200 rollover minutes, so I don't worry about going over & having extra charges.  My kids use the texting the most & I am really glad I took the unlimited family plan for that.  Plus mobile to mobile is free.  We thought about added the 5 or 10 call any mobile service but I decided with 2200 rollover minutes it didn't matter. 

We had a wonderul day yesterday.  I love to go with him on school trips, even if we go somewhere that has nothing else to do.  We enjoy the time together away from  home.  Sometimes we take Rose but not all the time.  She loves to go & talk to the kids.  She even calls them kids & says hi & bye to all of them as they get on & off the bus.  Kids are so funny at that age as you well know.
