So I tried and tried and finally I got a job that may help us a little. So far what I gather I'd be making will pay the bills. And then we have Josh's Drill pay, and that should help with gas to get me to work. The HR manager that hired me said there will be plenty of opportunity for overtime (which is time and a half), so hoping I can jump on that. The job is 40 hours a week, and my first full-time job in 6 years. I am nervous but I got the job so if they think I can do it, I can do it! I start on Monday, and Josh will officially be a stay-at-home-dad. I am worried how he will handle doing everything that I was doing and how the role-reversal will be on him. He has been gone so often (with deployments and missions etc.) and it seems like he's just been given 3 kids and expected to know what to do. He is very capable and loving, and he is very good with the kids and they love him. We are still waiting on his active duty papers, and no sign of when that will come through. We also applied for an Emergency Relief Grant or Loan from the Army I only asked for enough money for toilet paper, baby wipes and soap and that sort of thing. I was scared to ask for more, in case we were given the loan. It is still super hard to admit I need help, that we need help. We have hit so many road blocks during the last 8 months not having an income. Its been a battle, and hopefully in the end we will win.  Anyway, in the last few weeks our situation went from hopeless to hopeful. Life is okay right now.
