Letters from the Heart

We are doing something special in our little city of character. We are stepping in and sending letters (short little upbeat notes) and now Christmas cards to those in the military in Afghanistan and Iraq. Many of those never hear from home, so we send little rememberences through Blue star Mothers, that we do not sign accept with our first names or a synomym (ie: grandma meme).

If you have wanted to do something and didn't know what to do this is it. Contact your local Blue Star Mothers. Get involved!!! Make an important difference.

This is Crafty meme with an apolgy because my computer has been down or missing all together, and I have not been able to keep up this group. But This year, just a very few weeks ago we sent out about 500 letters and Christmas cards to troops not just in Afghanistan but in the hospitol here in the states. There will be more efforts like this. There is a ongoing project of writting letters. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers and contact me if you wish about ways to get involved. Anybody can write a note.
