Daily Q: Books

 I love books. A lot of my time is either writing my own, reading, or listening to books. My favorite is historical romances. I do like Thrillers, mysteries and others but my all time favorites are romances. The authors I enjoy best are Diana Gabaldon. Her Outlander series is the all time favorite! She just had a new one out named An Echo in the bone. Its a bit different from the rest but she's setting herself up for a new series I think while still following Jamie and Claire's lifetime.

Then I also like the Princess Meredith series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I finished listening to that series though I mistakenly skipped one book on Frost. Oh well, I know the ending now so don't want to go back to listen to that one knowing what will happen.

Christine Feehan also has some great books. Though hers follow a pattern that doesn't deviate as much as it should. The Carpathians are great but she needs to add more differences in each story than she does.

Sherillyn Kenyon is also a good writer. Asheron is especially a favorite of mine.

There are many others.

I'm working on my own Sci-fi/Romance novel. While I may not be up to these ladies standards, one day maybe my name will be right along with them. :)
