I think I met an angle today!
We were at the mall (East Town) and Tom went into the store that sell electronic games like PS2, XBox, Wii, etc and I took Chloe to look at the Santa house. There was a stand that was selling cookies for only $1. Chloe asked me if she could have one. I told her that she spent my last dollar on the train ride (which was true). Just thin a lady walked up and gave the girl working the stand $2 dollars. She looked at me and gave us the cookies and said she is a grandmother and that nothing is better than cookies. Just then Tom walked up and asked where Chloe go the cookies from. I turned back around and the lady was gone. I looked all over the mall and couldn't find her. I still have a smile on my face and that juts made my day.
Thank you!!!!

Isn't it sweet when nice people do such unexpected gestures. My kids and I were at our local store and they wanted a slice of pie. I didn't have enough $$ to spend the $1.75 per slice. This elderly gentleman overheard the conversation between my children and I and unbeknownst to me, he went thru the checkout lane and had purchased each of my children a slice of pie and gave them to us....then he mumbled something about "forgetting an item" disappeared in the store while we were in line and reappeared back in line again with a 1/2 gallon of ice cream for the rest of the family. He insisted...it was the Holidays, he didn't have any family around and it made his Holiday to do that for us :) It's nice to see such kindness still exists :) It nearly made me cry. I'm sure that cookie will be fondly remembered by your daughter after it was long gone :)
