Lots.
They both were heavily in the beauty queen circuit. They know the value of looking pretty.
They both speak out against same-sex marriage. Both would like to deny equal rights to same-sex couples. They have the wisdom to know that by allowing same sex marriage, all marriages will suffer. They're so smart.
They both portray themselves as victims of media malpractice. Neither of them expected the spotlight to shine such a glaring light on their personal lives. It was wrong of the media to give to show their seamier sides.
They both agree that they are the only ones who have had to suffer under such scrutiny, and believe that it is solely because they are outspoken conservative women (hear that, Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton?), and not because they are such comical figures.
They both like to portray themselves as models of virtuous Christian living--Madonnas in the making--while trying to gloss over their hypocrisies. Carrie likes to talk about being a role model, after sexting her boyfriend, then lying about it. Sarah likes to enforce abstinence-only "sex" education, while her daughter gives birth before even graduating from high school.
They admire each other.
But more than that, they admire themselves.
They both are narcissistic. They crave the spotlight so much that they seem willing to do or say anything to keep it on themselves.
They both have put their respective feet in their mouths, but don't have the wisdom to just shut up.
They both are authors. Neither can put together a coherent sentence in actual speech, but somehow each has managed to have a book published. They prove that any drivel can be published and promoted.
When it comes to writing a book about their lives and their "insight", neither one seems to get that
NO ONE CARES!
Comments:
I'm starting to wonder if they're the same person in two different disguises.
I understand that some Conservative groups have purchased thousands of Palin's book to use as "giveaways" at some of their functions. That alone would be enough to keep me from attending those events!
"Going Rouge". . . Ha! Something like that should outsell Palin's "Going Rogue". Alas (for some reason that's beyond my comprehension), she seems to have a base of followers. Add to that bizarre base and the fact that her book is being used as giveaways, her sales are already beyond anything reasonable. I'd expect her to sell about two--one to herself, and the other. . . to herself. I don't know who else would want to read it.
I also wonder if Palin and Prejean are at least related somehow, Jeanqenie.

i'm pretty tired of seeing their faces and hearing their voices every Palin especially...
Did you hear that another book is coming out the same day as Palin's with the title "Going Rouge".... I am picturing sales for that book go through the roof and poor Palin's remain on the shelf.
