With about a week to go, I'm ready to have my baby (Katie Jane, aka Kate). This pregnancy has been the toughest thing any person can go through, but also one of the most amazing. The best part was my 16th week in pregnancy. I was sitting with my boyfriend on the couch while we were watching a movie. Suddenly, I felt something move in my abdomen. I looked down at my slightly extended stomach and gasped. "Jake, give me your hand!" I commanded. I took his hand and put it exactly where I felt the movement. 30 seconds later, with Jake staring at me like I was an idiot, the baby moved again. Jake gasped and said, "Whoa, were actually having a baby." It was so amazing to be able to feel that and to be able to have actual proof that there was a living thing inside of me! This was just a moment I thought that I'd share with mothers that are scared and haven't experienced this yet. Especially for you fellow teen moms, because, when you experience this, it is the most peaceful, blissful moment imaginable.
