Almost, but not quite!

I am seriously frazzled. Last week during S. School I thought I had ages before our Christmas play (I thought it was on the 20th of Dec). I found out, then, that it was the 14...or so I thought. In the church bulletin today I read there was a breakfast on Saturday the 12th. Confused, I checked a calendar and learned that our play is on the 13th!!! Then, after a very long rehersal of a part that should last 20 min..it lasted 45....I learned one of my characters won't be around that day. AT ALL! I have 11 kids doing several things and now will have to figure out how to meld the script into less. I mean, it will work, but it makes well..for more work for me. And I have no idea how I am going to do it at this time. It seems like every week the date for the play is closer. Well, ok, that is true. Every week the date is closer, but it seems like I have less time than I had thought! Next week we cannot rehearse due to a dinner...and the next week is Thanksgiving. We'll have to do it then anyway, I cannot skip two since we only have 3 til we do it! GASP>

OK, I have vented..it might need done again! Thankfully, I wrote the play so cutting script or changing lines won't be a copyright hassle! Every time I have done that in the past, I cringed. Already I have deleted several lines and will prolly do even more! sigh.
