i wish more peeps chose adoption too. but a lot of babies go unwanted because they are not perfect as well. if more people adopted less than perfect babies it woudl work better as well. sad truth.
Choose life should always be the first option. Think about all those women that are willing to take their chances of dying to save their babies when it comes down to Mother or baby. Think about all those mothers that choose life, even knowing their baby will only live a short time. That short time they charish forever.
but you cannot dictate what someone can or cannot live with. you and i might choose to riskour lives, or even die for our unborn baby. you cannot dictate that someone else does the same. life doesnt work that way.
And now let's think about all those poor children who are stuck in foster care until they "age out" at 18, a lot of times ending up on the street with NOTHING... Not every child put up for adoption is a healthy, white infant, and those are the ones people want. Not saying it's right, far from it, but it's reality...
Then there is something wrong with people's hearts. What hardens hearts? But then why is it even a government or political issue, it should be between the Mother/Father, the doctors and God. Why do people need to protest and get a law passed that allows them to kill their baby?
I just think something has gone with the human heart, that they see killing a baby is better than letting them live or be put up for adoption or put in foster care. So everyone that is for abortion says, well it's better then them growing up in a abusive home, well maybe something needs to change in that home, so there isn't abuse. Why is society justifying killing babies because they think that is a better life than they "think" they will have.
Alot of people have overcome abuse or being adopted or being put in foster care and have had fulfilled lives, but they were given that chance.
I just don't get it, and to be completely honest, when I was younger, I never thought that much about abortion, but especially after having kids and realizing the value of human life, I've really taken notice to how horrible it is, and it is for everyone, even if they want to admit it or not. How can it not be under any circumstance?
Shouldn't we as a society being trying to prevent abortion and not keep saying it's a choice, like it's no big deal?

You know what I find really sad....Only 1% of teenage mom choose Adoption! Isn't that something?
The Adoption option seems to get lost somewhere between pro-choice and pro-life. It is really such a loving choice for everyone! I wish more women considered it.
